Haramain High Speed Rail,

Saudi Arabia

The Haramain High Speed Rail connects the cities of Makkah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia, over a distance of over 400 km.

The line included the construction of numerous viaducts. SILGA undertook the design of the major viaducts in the project, included all those located in the city of Jeddah.

Viaducts were designed as concrete box girder or as precast girders bridges. Total length of viaducts designed exceeded 12 km.

SILGA was responsible for detail design and technical assistance during construction.
