King Abdulaziz Rd bridge. Saudi Arabia

The intersection of King Abdulaziz Rd. with King Abdullah Rd. at Al Madinah Al Munawarah, was improved by adding a third level for a viaduct and the design of two new bridges for U-turns.

The bridge consists of two prestressed three cell concrete bridges with a total width of 15.90 m and nine spans with a maximum length of 68 meters. The U-Turns were designed with precast concrete girders with two spans 20 m long each.

SILGA was responsible for detail design and assistance during construction.
