Astigarraga Viaduct. Spain
The Hernani-Astigarraga cable-stayed viaduct, measuring 482 meters in length, crosses the Urumea River and is part of the "Y-Basque," being the first cable-stayed bridge in Spain's High-Speed Rail network.
Main span is 120 m
The structure includes three metal pylons standing 30 meters tall and a post-tensioned concrete deck with 108 stays ranging from 10 to 60 meters. The installed stays belong to the articulated MSI 2000 system.
Scope of work was supervision during construction.
