Footbridges at Budaiya and Janabiyah Rds Improvements. Bahrain

Included in the Project for the improvement of Budaiya and Janabiyah roads, in Bahrain, there four pedestrian bridges. 

The bridges are designed as prestressed concrete U section decks, with approach stairs and elevators. The spans are variable between 27.7 and 48.1 meters.

The design has been done trying to achieve a good balance between economy, durability and aesthetics.

SILGA is responsible for Concept and Detail design of the footbridges, for both structural and architectural. The client is KEO International Consultants and the Owner the Ministry of Works of Bahrain
